Young Adult fiction for teens is an increasingly interesting genre. Much of the quality writing taking place today is written for those in the 7th grade and up. Check out the Young Adult area of the library to the right of the photocopiers.

Teen Advisory Board and Volunteens

The Teen Advisory Board or (TAB) is a group of teens that get together for an hour once a month during the school year. Meetings include snacks and chatter about the hottest new books and music. The board assists in the ordering of the teen books, magazines, graphic novels, and music for the young adult area of the public library. They also aid in preparing programs for teens and children.

Volunteens are teens in grades 7th-12th that volunteer to help out at the library once a month. The Volunteens may assist in preparing for library programs and other library needs.
