The Auglaize County Public District Library participates in adding obituaries to the Rutherford B. Hayes Obituary Index for local newspapers that are kept and collected by the library in Wapakoneta.  The Stallo Memorial Library, a branch library in Minster, has a collection of the Minster Community Post.

The charge is $2.50 per individual listed whom you are requesting a search of.  If an obituary is located, it will be sent to you.   Additional obituaries for the same individual(s) are $2.50 each (some people have several obituaries).   If the library is unable to locate an obituary, you will still be assessed the $2.50 SEARCH FEE for each person listed.    

The request must include the newspaper name or abbreviation, date, page and column.

Requests via e-mail can be made to acpdl@oplin.org.   There is no credit card option.  The check will have to be mailed and received before the research is initiated.

The obituaries will be mailed as soon as we can get them.  We will attempt to complete the request within a week of the receipt of the patron's check.

Patrons are welcome to come to the library to research the information.  The copiers are coin-operated for $.10 per page.
