Amber Metz, Author of Breathtaking

Born with cystic fibrosis, Amber Metz battled every day to breathe and then overcame her disease through a double lung transplant.  Her book describes her journey and her developing faith in God.  Talk with her at the library about her experiences in her young life.  Copies of Breathtaking will be available for purchase and signing by the author.

The author of the Sarah series—Sarah's Wish, Sarah's Promise, and Sarah's Escape—will speak about these works of historical fiction set in our very own Wapakoneta, in the years 1858-60. The author's great-great-grandfather, John Baumgardner lived in Wapakoneta during the mid-19th century.
